We were very honoured to have our friends over our house again for CNY on the second day.


The 2 "fake" cows. They are actually teenager "Rats" ... same as me and Shark ! So we were not really out-numbered by the "cows" afterall !

The most interesting highlights of the day .... gambling ! Once in a year, so gamble all you can ! Huat ar !

Before the steamboat, CNY,we planeed to make "huat kueh". In actual fact, only these 2 hardworking "cows" did the whole job on behalf of us ! The rest of us were either disinterested, lazy or cannot be bothered. Oh, gosh ! (I'm one of them lah, I admitted) But thanks to CK & Fang, we got to eat pumpkin huat kueh.

CNY "Chu Yi" at Chee Keon's house

As a tradition, we would all go to Eldest Bro's house at Verde Road for a get-together and dinner and of course, Lao Yu Sheng again ! We brought Jojo along this time. He can get along with Dobby quite well.

Youngest niece, Alisa, Leng Leng & Ah Mi. The 2 doggies seems to be the delights of the evening. Jojo was extremely "hao lian" when Leng Leng praised him "clever" while he jumped 3 stps up & down the stairs separating the living and dining room ! He repeated his stunts till he got tired, he enjoyed the attention very much ... we couldnt stopped laughing at his silliness ...

Ah Mi very busy on the first day of CNY as there will be some relatives coming. As a tradition, she will cook fried bee hoon and fried pumpkin cake.

Reunion Dinner with CK's family - 25 Jan 09

We have reunion dinners with CK's family every year at restaurants. This year, we went to "Crystal Jade Dining Room" at IMM. We would normally have 2 tables for all family members.

Reunion Dinner at Parents' home 2009

This year, we invited Ah Gu and family to my parents' home for dinner. This is great as it added more to the atmosphere. If not, it'll just be 4 of us :)

Of course, Ah Gu and family will bring their favourite neighbour girl, Mei Mei along. In fact, when I smsed my cousin, Eris, I have specifically asked her to bring her neighbour, mei Mei along. She is a pretty matured, well-behaved and chatty little 7 years old girl.

My mum has prepared a lot of food. We ate like that's no tomorrow, however there were still quite a lot of ingrdients left. we also brought Jojo along. Before we started to eat the steamboat, we fed him first so that he would not pester us for food. Hahaha.

After the steamboat, we had Ben & Jerry's ice-cream ... yummy.

So this was how we spent our reunion dinner at my parents' house.
