Colin and Lifin's house

Colin and Lifin invited us to their house at West Coast Terrace. Their house is huge for a small family of 4 ! Very ideal place for get-together and entertainment for large group. With the consent of the owners, we have brought Jojo along. (Paige, sorry we have to leave you home this time) He has a good time running around the house and being carried around by the some of the guests.

An island in the kitchen to die for !


Loving the concept of their huge dining and open concept kitchen. They have constructed a kitchen behind the garden so that heavy frying or cooking can be done outside the house.


Their first floor washroom. I was rather shy to take more photos of their house though. It is a luxurious 3 storey house which most people would want to live in.


Jayden and Zining busy climbing up and down the steps that segregate the dining and living room the whole night. I have looked after Jayden while his parents ate their dinner. It was exhausting !



Time passed very fast. Without us knowing, it was almost 11 plus. It was a great time spent !

Bought 1 pair of pink clips for her, she disliked it and try all means to take them down. Poor girl ! Yes, the pink clips were removed after the photo-shoot.
Jojo got his grooming today and his ribbon for day is yellow !

Photobook

Loving my photobook !

When I first set eyes on them at Peninsula Plaza, they are priced too expensively for daily photos taken.

Somehow,I was fortunate enough to be able to made one through IRAS friends. They consolidated orders from colleagues and friends to tap the attractive offer at a roadshow in Novena Square. A 48 page photobook costs $98 but I only $35 or so.

All you need to make your personal photobook are just the vendor's custmoised CD software and your own digital photos. The submission of the completed book is also sent from your own PC. I have spent another $10 for them to deliver to my office.

Who DID this ?!!!

We received a call from my mum on Sunday. "Ah Long" has sprayed "O$P$" and my parent's unit number outside their flat unit. Not only that, they have also sprayed on 7th and 12th floor as well ! Devastating !

When we went on Monday, the Town Council has sent the worker to paint over the spray. The paint was thin and the unit number was still visible. The police will inform Town Council to repaint the spray again.

A police report has been filed on the day it was discovered and it was suspected someone might have used my mum's IC to borrow from loanshark when she lost her IC a few months ago.

I just hope that the Ah Long could be captured soon and leave my parents alone.

Dinner on 14 Feb 2011

Not sure if this a V-Day dinner ...we never did celebrate this day as it does not held any significant memories or special moments for us. Dun be misunderstood, we still feel that this day is filled with love whether one celebrates or not.

Anyhow, CK was glad that I prepared western dinner for him.
I did these all in an hour's time after bringing the two doggies back from their walk. It was a multi-task with 2 stove burners cooking soup and pan-frying chicken breasts and oven baking portobello mushrooms ! The Ayam brand baked beans was heated up after the soup. CK came back almost on time to eat the dinner.


The portobello mushrooms with minced garlics and olive oil took almost 30 minutes to bake in oven.


For CK ... chicken breasts tenderized and marinated with mixed herbs the night before. Chicken thighs would have tasted much better ... we were trying to be more healthy here. Love-shaped chili sauce on plate using aid from my baking collections.

Lost

We lost our photos CD to Japan ! No softcopies left except those I uploaded in Facebook and blog. Sigh ! Luckily, I have developed some into hardcopies !CK's colleague has called and asked if I'll be interested in making a photobook recently. The price is definitely attractive at only $35 per book ! They helped to purchase the voucher for me. I have just "made" the electronic photo album and submitted on-line. Have not received the finished product.

Some of the photos I have put in the photo book. This is a self-drive trip to Melbourne with CK, mum and niece in 2005. Such a fun time we had together !




































Trip to New Zealand with CK and my parents. This is also a self-drive trip with CK driving like 4-5 hours per day ! A rather challenging experience for him with morning mist and winding mountain routes. Love the fruits farm and vineyards too ! Really missed these self-drive trip ! We are still deciding if we should go to Australia or Taiwan in Oct ...
