1st Day of Xin Nian

We woke up about 7:30am ... so tiring. It was a long day for us.
First stop was to reach my parents' house around 8:30am. Mum prepared yummy "mee suan" for us. We stayed for about 9:30am and headed to my mother-in-law's house.

I was glad that I was able to help my MIL as she was alone and busy. Cutting ingredients and frying my home-marinated chicken wings. Relatives arrived soon afterwards.


Jojo was with us the whole day and he was a source of attention somehow ... he is a lucky dog to be dotted by my parents and some relatives and friends.




We left MIL's house around 12 plus for Ah Gu's house. Some relatives were there already. Cousins that you don't often meet or cousins who simply have "vanished" from thin air over the years. Disappointed that relationship amongst people seems to be so vulnerable and so distance nowsaday. Anyhow, so glad that my beloved cousin. Eris is still herself, being the generous and caring young lady to her parents and even to mum !




We headed home for an hour's rest before going over to eldest brother's house.

SIL brought us around for a walk around the estate before dinner.


Bought another CNY clothing for Dobby to wear.


A tired long day but it was enjoyable.
