My precious moments with Jojo

I realised that I did not have many photos taken with Jojo. Finally, have some time today to take some photos with him !

This was randomly taken sometime ago whereby I spotted Jojo cuddling with his favourite toy ! I simply just grabbed my small camera and shot !

Passing of Dobby

Poor Dobby ! Eldest SIL told me that he was not feeling very well on a Sat and now he was gone ... his blood count was below 6 and was seriously ill. He managed to get some blood supply from a friend's big dog but somehow could not survive the ordeal.

Dobby in happier times ... he has been the greatest joy to his family.
Dobby, you'll be missed by us and Jojo !

Sourcing for a pet boarding house

We are currently sourcing for a pet boarding hotel/house for Mr Jojo Tan in June. We decided to pay Petopia a visit.

I would say this is a higher class fully air-conditioned boarding house with spa service and grooming for dogs. For a 5 day stay there, Jojo's stay will cost more than one air-ticket ! (only stay) All the staff in this pet hotel have to wear uniform and a cap too.


These are the hotel's mascots. Check out the dog with a "bear" print on his fur. Some have vegetable colour dye on their fur.


The enclosed play area for the boarding dogs.


Individual room for the dog. Most of the time, the dogs will be at the play area. They will only be confined in their "hotel" room during meals and night time.


The spa and grooming room for very pampered pets. (see the 2 white dogs on the grooming table)

CK and myself think that this place is ok for Jojo as long as he is in good hands. However, we knew that Jojo does not enjoy so many other dogs' companion. We wanted to try out a couple in Yishun who looked after dogs in their house soon.

Puppy dreaming

This particular video from XinMSN is so so cute especially when a cute puppy is doing it!
Jojo did this at times and I was so worried ... now that I know that dogs can dream too, I feel more re-assured by this gesture.

At Doggiestyle Cafe

We decided to bring our furry son to Nex at Serangoon. It was a rather hot day but was glad to seek refuge inside an air-conditioned doggie cafe.


Our cosy little corner tacked at a corner of the restaurant. All dogs can be unleased to mingle with other dogs. Jojo wasn't very keen to mix around. They just sniffed each other and went back to their owners. It was strange, all the doggies behaved this way, not just Jojo.


Sorry Jojo ... no dog's food order for you as you have eaten your breakfast and lunch already at home. These are our food ! I must say the food we ordered were nice ! CK ordered this sandwich for his lunch.


My lunch is a pork sausages with yummy mashed potatoes ! The best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten !

I did not even noticed that Xiang Yun was sitting at the next table. I only realised Zhou Chu Ming's presence when he came in. Jojo kept going to their table to check out other dogs from a distance. It was then Zhou Chu Ming asked me if Jojo belongs to us ? Xiang Yun turned and talked to us, then I realised all the while the person that Zhou Chu Ming was talking to was Xiang Yun ! Very blur ... anyhow, Xiang Yun told us that they have a little red poodle at home. I must say that she is a very friendly person ...


The cameraman came into the restaurant too. It was then that Xiang Yun asked the cameraman to give Jojo some "air time" ...aiyo ! CK said that Jojo was shivering badly when the camera shot at him! Sigh ! I doubt his virgin TV exposure will be aired ! Who would aired a shivering and scared-looking dog ?

It is always an agony for Jojo when he takes his bath ... he is pretty good when he is in the bathtub but when he was done, he showed his displeasure ...


He was quite "guai" when he was being bathed. He will remain stationary and quiet ...


Dripping wet, skinny and rather unhappy ... daddy towel-drying him ...


The angry dog emerged from the bathroom ...

That does not appease him, he would continue to "dry" himself by dashing around the house or rolling himself on whatever he could find to dry himself.
