Trip to Hong Kong with 1B18 Day 4 (20th Year Anniversary)

Day 4, good time passed fast !

Very excited today as we have decided to eat at "Chef Mickey" for breakfast !

We spent some time taking photos of ourselves through the Mickey mouse-shaped hole on the chair.


This photo was taken on the lawn which show-cased the Hollywood Hotel sign.

As Disneyland's opening hours is at 10:30am, we have to reach the entrance by then. After checking in Disneyland, we went to take our first ride, Pooh Bear ride !
Yipee, no queue ! In no time, we were transported in the land of Pooh. We enjoyed this kiddy ride !

Next, we went to watch a 3D show featuring Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse & other famous movie characters ! I have fun watching this show sitting next to LL ! She was cute in terms of expressing her wonderment and excitement ! Yes, that's the spirit !

My friends were very sharp to see Donald Duck walking into his photography spot ! Without hesitation, we "rushed" to join the queue ! BTW, this was our only photo taken with the Disney character ! (really no time to queue to take photos with others)

We ate some fine-dining dishes at this Chinese Restaurant at Disneyland.



It's a small small World ride !!! Nice ! Enjoyable ! The ride is much longer than the Pooh Bear ride.

Golden Mickey show ! Verdict: Some friends wanted to sleep because the seats were so comfortable and the lightings were so dreamy ! I love the female lead's pretty gown ! Very very pretty !



Water works Disney Parade ! Bring your umbrellas if you do not want to get too wet.

We missed BC and family a lot. Hopefully, in near future, we can travel again with every single member of 1B18, including Shark !
Overall, we have a wonderful time in Hong Kong. Personally for me, I loved the times we spent in Ngong Ping and Disneyland. I loved all the meals we had together as well. It was indeed a memorable anniversary !

Trip to Hong Kong with 1B18 Day 3 (20th Year Anniversary)

It was a wonderful feeling waking up on the 3rd day of our anniversary trip ! Why was that so ? Because we were going to stay in Hollywood Hotel !

Even though we are in our late thirties but we still have that child-like fantasy of a cutish and happy land !

So far, this was my fourth visit to Disneyland but have never stayed in the disney hotels before. I have heard friends who shared about the cute items/rooms you can expect in the hotel.

Before the van picked us up to Lantau Island (that's where Disneyland is situated), we have a sumptuous Dim Sum just at the Restaurant below Prudential Hotel ! This restaurant was grand and big ! What a pleasant surprise !

Dim Sum, can you resist them ? I realised that I could not ... could eat Dim Sum for days ! Hope to eat in this restaurant again for my next trip to HK !

We loitered for quite a while in this restaurant as it was comfortable. The decorations is nice too. We took quite a few photos with this lovely backdrop.

Nice picture ...For once, Tiang posed the same pose as the rest .... Ryan looked extremely pleased with his 2 pretty escorts !

OFF To DISNEY HOLLYWOOD HOTEL

The Mini bus picked us up at hotel's lobby and we were ready to set off for our fantasyland ! It took us about half an hour or less to reach Lantau island.

We went into the hotel lobby but the rooms were not ready. Therefore, all of us upgraded to a "sea view" rooms and could check in immediately. (must top up a bit)

The free Disneyland coach which will ferry hotel guests to and fro from Disney Hotels to Disneyland. This was the entrance into Hollywood Hotel. There are 2 Disney theme hotels namely "Disneyland Hotel" and "Hollywood Hotel".

Sweet slippers to bring home too ! No one minded having to expand their luggage's size with all these freebies !

This was our plan for Day 3. For those who were interested to visit Ngong Ping 360 would spend half a day up the hills. We took the Disney-inspired MTR train from Sunny Bay (at Disneyland entrance) to Tung Chung MTR which is only 1 stop away !

NGONG PING 360

Now they have Cystal Cabin for those who would like a view through the glass ground of the cabin ! (you got to pay more too)


Up Up and away ! To bad, we did not have the whole cabin to ourselves !

Climbing up the steps were task for LL and me. Our mums did better than us !


Finally, we reached the top !


On the way down to the cable terminal. I love this part of the journey where you get to see the beautiful landscape !


BEWARE ! There are 2 cameras which was stationed on both cable terminals ! Make sure you pose nice nice and purchase your group photo at the main terminal when you came down. We have such a fun time discussing how to pose and ended up with "flower" pose ! I really enjoyed myself very much in the cabin ! We were noisy, chatty and we had
the cabin all to ourselves ! Yipee !!!

That's not the end of our journey, we went for a quick shopping trip at the shopping center next to the cable terminal. We rushed back to Disneyland to eat a fastfood dinner and watched fireworks !

A quick dinner at the fast food restaurant in Tomorrow's Land. All visitors' belongings were checked before you can enter Disneyland. We bought Maggi mee at Tung Chung and we were not allowed to bring them in. It was a good thing, we all deposited our heavy food items at the FOC shelter ! Blessings in disguise !
