Trips in 2010

For the past 10 months or so, the furthest I have explored out of Singapore is JB, twice !

It was time to advance further next year !

However, I wish that the two trips were spaced out a bit more.

The first trip will focus in beautiful Switzerland in early April 2010 which we will spend 8 days there. The rest of the 6 days, we will spend in Paris and London respectively. I was happy to be able to go Europe again. For our trip, it will not be such a comfortable trip with guided tour guide, ready coaches and meals awaiting you. We will be doing a budget and leisure one traveling on trains and public transports. We are still in the midst of planning the itineraries with recommendations of nice places from friends and relatives who have been there for a longer time.

The reason for visiting Europe is because CK has not visited Europe before. It will be a wonderful opportunity to be able to explore the place at our own pace by doing something different this time.
However, I always have this guilt feeling of not going over to Melbourne to visit Andy, Jeremy and Joel! I must made a point to visit them in the near future.


The second trip "planned" was a group tour with my poly friends to Bangkok in May 2010! It was pretty amazing at how fast we have came to a consensus of settling a date for this trip! Why is that so ? Thanks to Jetstar that we had only less than 1.5 days to decide before the promotion ended at 12pm today !

There must be at least 50 emails (not exaggerating) to and fro before everything was finalised. We must give thanks to our newly emerged tour coordinator Esther and experienced tour manager, Fang for their quick fingers to book for 11 adults, 2 teens and 2 toddlers ! (Did I miscounted ?)It must be pretty exciting for them to "book" an air-seat for everyone !

Too bad this time round, CK cannot join us. Even though it was only 4 days of trip to the Land of Thousand Smiles, but the arrangement of our pets can be quite cumbersome. As my mum is coming along with us, our only short-term pet giver was gone. Also, to put Jojo and the 2 chincillas in a pet hotel cost much more than our air-tickets ! Of course, another reason, CK doesn't like Bangkok lah. With these reasons, we reluctantly excused him from this trip.

Nevermind ! We have an overnight trip at Kukup this Sat to look forward to !
