Jang Shou Korean Charcoal BBQ at Colours of the Bay was pretty good. Place is spacious and BBQ was delicious except the "San Sen Rou" which was quite tough. Ah Fang and Tiang, thanks for buying on behalf of everyone the Tiramisu which LL loved !!! Colette has indeed grown up and able to pronounce words and identify objects ! Ah Fang, thanks for the souvenirs from Thailand. I must think hard what to get you ladies for my Hong Kong's trip in Sept ... haha. Must buy different items so that you ladies will "fight" over which one to choose !!!
It just happened that tonight, there would be fireworks at Marina Bay. About 8:30pm, we went to join the crowd at the long stretch of Bay. Everyone has already "reserved" good place to watch the fireworks. We did not have a fantastic position to watch the fireworks as part of the view were blocked by trees. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the fireworks !
Esther, Andrew & Colette went home first. We wanted to chat more and went ahead trying to find a decent cafe for a chat. We had a hard time getting to Marina Shopping Center as there were so many people "fleeing" there too after the fireworks! Anyhow, all the cafes were closing by the time we reached there. We just settled our little break at Killiney Cafe squeezed in a little corner.
A note to Ah Tiang: I'll remember your promise about the "suckling pig" matter and wish you all the luck in finding your true love !
