3rd Day at Hokkaido

3rd day of our travel ...

ASAHIKAWA
1. Ramen Village
2. Otokoyama Sake Factory
3. Asahikawa Zoo
4. Sounkyo Gorge


1. Ramen Village
Ramen village consists of only 2 rows of ramen restaurants for us to choose. This lunch will be bear by tour memebers. Ogawa has instructed us to eat our ramen with "sapping" noise to show that it's delicious. We had a hard time trying to show off how delicious the ramen was. CK is the most natural amongst the 3 of us ... sapping the ramen.






















2. Otokoyama Sake Factory
Brief introduction of how Sake is made. if you like Sake, you can do a Sake testing. For us who are not very keen, we just armed our camera and went out to the nice landscape garden in front for photo shoots.


































3. Asahikawa Zoo
We weren't very keen on visiting any Zoo as we have a world-class Zoo in Singapore, didn't we ? But since it's in the itinerary, we would just have to follow. Asahikawa Zoo was built on a gentle slope, therefore it gives a wider and not so confined feelings to the visitor.

I must say that besides having great opportunities to be so close to the penguins and seals, there weren't a lot of animals in this Zoo. Nothing compared to our Zoo..hee hee. With CK monkeying around, thought he added more interests to our visit :)





4. Sounkyo Gorge

Next we proceed to Sounkyo gorge, situated at Mt Daisetsuzan National park.
