A day at East Coast Park and Top One KTV at Bugis

Shark has came back to Singapore for a week or so ... so she has suggested that we go to East Coast Park for a bicycle ride and picnic.

We arrived at East Coast Park and wow, what a spread of food. Lee Lim has been busy collating our attendance and food list to bring. These are the food brought by various friends. The hungry people have started "attacking" the food soon after arrival. Ah Tiang used a BBQ pork box to put the chicken wings she fried ... we were wondering what was inside before realising that our friend has used this unique way of transporting her chicken wings to the park ... hahaha. Someone commented that that she can still smell the BBQ pork ...alamak. But I must say that the chicken wings marinated with "Hua Tiao Jiu" is pretty tasty. As for our family, I fried bee hoon and CK prepared the multi-coloured jellies. Esther and family brought drinks and sandwiches. Mui Huang brought fruits, fried fishballs, sausages ... Shark brought 2 big slices of watermelons without a knife to cut. Therefore with her creative ways, she used a fork and spoon and managed to cut into smaller pieces for consumption. The watermelons were really sweet. After our fill, we were wondering what was the purpose of coming to East Coast Park ? Apparently we were all so greedy and the only thing that came into our mind was just food ...LOL.

The objective somehow came clearly that we should go cycling. However I did not join in as I was afraid of the hot sun .. I was already darker after coming back from Hong Kong, do not want to burn myself further. Esther, Andrew and Princess Colette did not go cycling ultimately and I got their companion enjoying the sea breeze.

After an hour or so, we saw 4 "lobsters" coming back from their ride. Their faces were red and their uncovered part of their body, which were their hands, and legs were burnt red too. Guess the weather was really hot ... CK was sunburnt too and said that that the red patches were painful.

After they returned the bicycles and we decided to chill out and relax. What was the best place to go ? KTV, of course. Just open your mouth and sing with air-con blowing and comfortable seats to laze. Esther, Andrew and Colette cannot go with us as baby needed rest, therefore we departed at the car park.

We had a good time at KTV ...as usual with this usual gang, felt that we have gone to younger years of our lives.
